So Microsoft has put out some things that they thought would be available in the future. They put these ideas out from 2004-2007 and said that each of them had a 5-10 year future. These products and ideas include the following:

1. Health - able to monitor your own health and doctors can view health records through many different sources

2. Manufacturing - technologies can automate different tasks, people can work and send data seamlessly

3. Banking - always being connected to your finances

4. Retail - store of the future, quickly find and buy items, instant product information access, the store knows your shopping history and helps you find similar products.
